Pastel Workshop with Theodore Brian Gilbert

I paint mainly in oils or soft pastels.

Soft pastels, sometimes known as chalks, were a favourite medium of the Impressionists, with vibrant colour and fabulous ability to provide a crossover between painting and drawing.

I am pleased to offer a two-hour session for attendees to either develop their skills or try this medium for the first time.

The painting in the poster shows what can be done in a couple of hours and I hope you’ll feel motivated to come along and join me, as I will be demonstrating and working myself.

Pastels and paper will be provided

Adults and adolescents – eg. GCSE, A Level etc

Beginners are welcome as well as the more experienced
