SVAF are pleased to announce that this years selector of the ‘SVAF OPEN 2018’ will be Rebecca Fairman director, owner and curator of ARTHOUSE1 Bermondsey, London SE1
ARTHOUSE1 is a unique contemporary art gallery within a domestic environment; it offers great opportunities for artists and groups who want to make a statement beyond the ordinary.
Artist Rebecca opened the prestigious ARTHOUSE1 in 2013
An Open Submission Exhibition in the KCC Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery for all SVAF members.

Specification for submission:
Please submit one or two pieces of work in any media – sculpture, paper, artist’s books, drawing, paint, print, photography, textile, ceramic, jewellery, glass, installation etc….
Sorry but we are currently unable to show film or video work.
Submit one image per 2D work and up to a max of three images for 3D. Images should be a height of 3,000 pixels, 72dpi with a maximum size of 2 MB in jpeg or pdf format.

Price if the work is for sale: a commission of 20% will be taken on all sales. Work will be accepted that is not for sale.

Selected artists deliver work to the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery on Monday 5th February 2018 between 9-30 and 12 midday.
At the end of the exhibition collect your work on Monday 5th March by 11am
Framed works must have mirror plates ready for hanging on the walls. Please make sure your work is finished to a professional standard.
All selected artists are responsible for covering all transport, liability and insurance costs for their own work.
On delivery work shortlisted for ‘SVAF OPEN 2018’ may be declined and not exhibited if it is deemed not to be of a professional standard or has been misrepresented by the digital image. This is at the discretion of the curators.

**All participating artists must have £5 million Public Liability cover. This is normal for artwork displayed in any public arena.
If your work is selected and you do not have public liability insurance one option is to join a-n magazine £36 pa (can be done online https://www.a- n.co.uk/about/insurance ) and sign up for Artist +AIR membership. You will then have automatic public and product liability for £5 million pounds, a twelve-month membership to the online contemporary art magazine and access to all the online blogs and information resources.
