Cinque Ports Scribes, are a Kent and East Sussex based Calligraphy group.
This exhibition is a celebration of our 30th anniversary.
We have 70 members ranging from nationally recognised, professional Scribes right through to newcomers to the art.
We have exhibited at several locations across the counties and have always won praise and plaudits for the quality of our members work. We have also hosted National Calligraphy conferences at Folkestone (2005) and Canterbury (2017).
We find calligraphy is of great interest to people of whom many believe it to be a “lost art”
