Louisa Crispin
JUNE 16 – 3 JULY
Entranced by the cycle of growth and decay, Louisa captures the details on beautiful smooth bristol board using ultra sharp pencils and graphite powder. It’s quiet in her studio, distanced from the world as she looks ever closer at plants, insects and birds. Texture, shadows, silhouettes and movement created with marks and tone, it’s rarely about the colour but always about the environment.
Kaleidoscope is run by the Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum and this white cube space will be perfect to show off some of the work Louisa has been creating recently.
Louisa will be in residence during part of the exhibition allowing her to work on a larger scale. Drop in and chat about her process.
