1.5 Degrees

1.5 degrees is a contemporary art exhibition which aims to highlight the current climate emergency and explore our human connection with our fragile planet. Featuring works by a group of South East based artists working in a variety of different media including print, ceramics, recycled materials,  paintings, found objects, film and ice sculpture.
Curated by Sian Thomas and Angharad Brittle.

Children’s workshops.

Saturday 1st Feb  1  – 3

A workshop for children to learn how to build a bug house from recycled materials.

Bring along your empty plastic bottles to turn them into bug houses and bird feeders.

This a free workshop but we would welcome a small donation to the Kent wildlife trust.

Saturday 8th February 1 – 3

A workshop to learn the skills to upcycle an item of clothing from your wardrobe.
Bring along an old item of clothing or fabric, design,  make and dress your own contemporary rag doll. all other materials provided.
All ages welcome but under 12’s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
There is a cost of £4 for tis workshop payable on the day.
